Visit to the European Union Satellite Centre in Torrejón de Ardoz

Under the auspices of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, Bruno Delaye, the French ambassador to Spain will invite all the ambassadors from the EU Member States to visit the EU Satellite Centre on 2 December next.
The aim of this visit is to enhance knowledge of one of the best-known successes of the European Security and Defence Policy (ESDP), namely the use of government satellite images to support ESDP operations. The participants will also recall the importance of the signature of the Helios II, COSMO-SkyMed and SAR-Lupe agreements giving the EU access to European government satellite images.
