A Europe Day was organized on 11 October by the French Embassy in Seoul

The French Embassy in South Korea organized a "Europe Day" on the occasion of the French Presidency of the European Union. Some fifty Korean students who have been or will go to Europe, and foreign students, gathered for a picnic in the "Yongsan Family Park".
These young Korean, French, Hungarian, German and Italian students in foreign languages (French, German, Italian, Hungarian, Spanish) or in international relations (Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Konkuk University, Korea University) thus shared their experiences and exchanged their points of view on Europe and Asia. They were also able to test their knowledge of Europe and get to know themselves better through team games organized for the occasion. Participants utterly enjoyed this Europe Day.
