Several venues in France (see below)Born in Munich in 1975, Daniel Kehlmann spends his time between Vienna and Berlin.
After reading Nabokov and Borges during his adolescence, he published his first novel when he was only 22. He broke all sales records with Measuring the World which has been translated in some forty countries (French translation, Actes Sud 2007).
Already winner of ten or so literary prizes, he was awarded the prestigious Kleist Prize in 2006, and the Welt Prize in 2007.
In France, Measuring the World was acclaimed by the press and, in 2007, was awarded the Prix des Dirigeants (Directors Prize).
Author of eight books, among which the novel Me and Kaminski (French translation: Actes Sud 2004), In February 2009 Actes Sud published Daniel Kehlmann's Ruhm, a novel with nine plots, as Gloire translated by Juliette Aubert.
