Saint-Étienne International Design Biennial is celebrating its 10th birthday in 2008!
"Flight number 10" is the name of two events devoted to European designers
First event:
Céline Savoye, Eric Jourdan and Vincent Lemarchands, former general organizers of the biennial, will invite the designers who have had a particular impact on the biennial and have become key players on the design scene.
Second event:
The 2008 biennial will also be devoted to the discovery of emerging designers, if possible from the 27 European Union member countries! What view do European designers have of companies, customs and individuals' daily practices? How do designers think of individual and collective daily life? What meaning do they give to their work?
Flight number 10 is a snapshot of contemporary design.

A special set will be designed by the Atelier Trafik.
Part of the exhibition may go on tour.
