The agenda over the four days will include some of the great names of Dutch and Flemish literature (without forgetting classics like Spinoza). The event also highlights some of the contemporary writers published in France in recent years. Actor Denis Lavant is expected to read some of his finest work. Leading specialists will discuss Van Gogh the writer. Some publishers representing their countries will present their favourites, their passion for the industry and their way of working. The Netherlands and Flanders are also regions with a tradition of typesetting (Elzevirs, Plantin) and unique graphic art (Rick Bas Backer, the Terbekke Behage studio). The most beautiful Dutch, Flemish and French books will be displayed.
