Everywhere in France
The "Rendez-vous de l'histoire" (History meetings) festival gives pride of place this year to European historians, who attempt, through their work as well as their commitment as citizens, to construct a shared history which respects cultural diversity. A series of 27 history lessons from 27 eminent historians from the 27 countries in the Union is therefore being organized, with the theme of "Europeans". These will be presented in autumn 2008, in Blois, as well as Paris and other French cities.
