In "While we Were Holding it Together", recreated at the national dance centre (CND) in French, Ivana Muller presents a poetic performance, full of humour, with crystal clear logic. The piece negotiates the relationship between the imaginery and physical, personal and collective, the position of the performer and the spectator. She offfers evolving images, always moving.

Is it a rock band on tour?
A picnic in the forest?
A hotel room in Bangkok?

By continually provoking changes in perception and meaning and presenting a conflict between the body and its performance, Ivana Muller creates a show which is uneasy, unexpected and genuinely funny.

Originally from Croatia, she lives and works in Amsterdam and Paris.
