Orly and Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airportsElzbieta Chojna was born in Warsaw in Poland, where she studied at the Faculty of Graphic Design at the School of Fine Arts. She received her degree in 1995 going on to work in advertising agencies. Since 1998, she has worked with the most important publishing houses in Warsaw as well as Krystyna Janda's "Polish Theatre".
In 1997 her Coca-Cola poster won the Maximum Creative Achievement Award in New York. In 2001, she was awarded a Pro Bologna competition prize. Two of her books, illustrated by Ewa Olejnik, were shown at the Bologna Children's Book Fair in 2002.
In 2007, her poster "Femme Plakat" won the Grand Prize at the 25th Poster Competition for Polish Galleries and Museums.
Since 1996, she has exhibited her posters in France, Italy, Germany and Sweden and at biennials in Poland, Finland, Bulgaria, China, Japan, Mexico and Iran. Today, she works with the Krysztof Dydo Poster Gallery in Krakow.
