Orly and Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airportsElamine Maecha was born in France in 1979. He studied at ENSAD (Strasbourg Higher College of Decorative Arts) and SMFA, School of the Museum, Boston. After graduating, he joined the Atelier National de Recherche Typographique, ANRT in Nancy, as a trainee researcher. This national workshop for typographic creation was founded in 1985 by the Ministry of Culture and the National Printing Office to give new impetus to typographic creation. Managed since 1989 by Peter Keller, this graduate from the Strasbourg Higher College of Decorative Arts, under a new name - the Atelier National de Recherche Typographique - provides training for specialists in the fields of character creation and typographic design. In 2005, after working freelance for a time, Elamine Maecha joined Studio Apeloig created by the graphic artist and designer Philippe Apeloig.
