Dimitris Karaiskos was born in Athens in 1973. He studied graphic art and design in Athens and at the Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication in London. He then worked for the London Times and Spook New Media website design studios. He created his own design studio in Athens in 2000 and has since worked on many projects and mediums. His posters for musical events won first prize at the National Greek Awards for Design in 2007. His book called "Flotsam & Jetsam" was published by Editions Gema in 2007. His book, "Athens, secret and unusal" has just been published by Editions Jonglez. In 2008, he became associated with Studio Espresso where he works with another graphic artist and designer Dimitris Arvanitis, a member of the AGI, International Graphic Alliance.
