Marseille, Prague and Terezin

orchestra conductors from each country. Each plays an identical work but with their own interpretation. They pay homage to all the composers killed or exiled as a result of totalitarian barbarity. Reviving forbidden music from the 20th century, this year the spotlight fell on Verdi's "Requiem" as it was played in the Terezin concentration camp in 1944 by interned artists. The program will also include a focus on forgotten works including those by Bretan, Ullmann and Sandfort.

The program in full:

Verdi's "Requiem" - Terezin - 1944 (première)

"Arald" and "Golem" - Nicolae Bretan

"Extra Helping" - Paul Arold Sandfort

Terezin sonata - Viktor Ullmann
