A summit of the main countries and institutions concerned by the financial crisis took place on 15 November 2008 in Washington.
It brought together the heads of state and government of the G20, the Secretary General of the United Nations, the Director General of the IMF, the President of the World Bank, the President of the European Commission and the President of the Financial Stability Forum, who adopted a declaration.
