The Cameroon-Europe Friendship Days, held in Yaounde on 12 and 13 November 2008, brought together numerous actors from civil society, politics and associations in Cameroon.
The Cameroon-Europe Friendship Days, held in Yaounde on 12 and 13 November 2008, brought together numerous actors from civil society, politics and associations in Cameroon.
These friendship days were jointly organised by the European embassies represented in Yaounde and Cameroon's Ministry of External Relations. The French ambassador to Cameroon, representative of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, Georges Serre gave the event's opening speech.
A conference on Cameroon's energy policy and cooperation with Europe was organised on this occasion at the International Relations Institute of Cameroon (IRIC) with the support of experts from Cameroon and Europe.
