Meeting in Dunkirk of the Bureau of the Committee of the Regions

The Bureau of the Committee of the Regions (CoR) - the Committee's executive body chaired by Luc Van Den Brande - is meeting in Dunkirk on 15 and 16 September at the initiative of the French delegation to the CoR and at the invitation of French MP and First Vice-President of the CoR, Michel Delebarre.
On 15 September, a citizens' debate on the future of Europe will be held in the presence of Michel Barnier, the French Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, and Catherine Lalumière, Chairman of the FFME, the French Federation of Europe Houses.
On 16 September, the CoR Bureau will hold a debate focused on the European agenda for sustainable transport and maritime policy, attended by some 120 participants from European territorial authorities and Dominique Bussereau, the French Minister of State for Transport.
