Declaration of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union on the attacks in Iraq

The Presidency of the Council of the European Union strongly condemns today’s suicide bombings that killed over twenty people and wounded dozens.
The Presidency conveys its sympathy and condolences to the victims’ families.
The Presidency calls on all Iraqis to join together to reject violence, consolidate, for the good of all citizens, progress made in law and order and help find the path to reconciliation, peace and security.
