Ariane rocket launch to fly the colours of the French Presidency of the Council of European Union

On 7 July at 11.47 p.m., an Ariane 5 rocket blasted off from Kourou in French Guyana.
The craft put into orbit two satellites, the ProtoStar1 (high definition TV and internet) and BADR-6 (television), with the rocket's nose cone bearing the official logo of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
