Accessibility
The www.ue2008.fr website is designed to be accessible to as many users as possible. This website aims to comply with the W3C recommendations for XHTML and CSS 2.0., the accessibility recommendations of the websites of the European Union institutions and the RGAA recommendations on general accessibility for French government departments.
With the exception of the services and graphics, all the site content complies with the accessibility criteria of the Accessiweb Bronze Label standard. The website is designed to be easy and comfortable to use, including for visually and hearing impaired users. In addition to the option to increase and decrease the text size, the speech synthesis tool (top right in the navigation bar) enables users to listen to the pages in the five languages of the website.
